With 26 years of experience and a BA (Hons) Law with a Diploma in Conveyancing and Executry Services Law, Michelle has dealt with all aspects of Executry Law, both estate and intestate, as well as Inheritance Tax estates, and is committed to providing a first-class service to her clients.
An Executry Manager in our Private Client team, Nicole is based in our Dundee and Arbroath offices, working alongside Audrey Dishington. She looks after the administration of testate and intestate estates for clients, including the day-to-day administration of executry estates, assisting executors in the process of winding-up estate, and dealing with Inheritance Tax issues.

Private Client Partner, Magnus Mackay, joins Thorntons following its recent recruitment of 10 new Inverness team members from Wright, Johnston and Mackenzie (WJM).
A key member of our specialist Private Client team in Inverness, Magnus assists individuals and their families in planning for the future.
He advises clients on a range of issues and planning matters including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Inheritance Tax Planning. He has a particular interest in the use of Trusts in Inheritance Tax planning and protecting vulnerable beneficiaries. He also assists Executors in the winding up of Estates and Trustees in the creation, administration and winding up of Trusts.
Working within our Private Client team, Wiktoria advises individuals and families on a wide range of matters including the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney, succession planning, legal rights issues, and Estate Administration.
She prides herself on her client-centred approach, focusing on understanding each client’s individual needs and building strong relationships through clear communication and prompt responses.

She has a particular interest in long-term care planning and decision-making, and is passionate about understanding how legal frameworks can support clients in navigating these complex issues.
Based in St Andrews, Georgia is a Solicitor in our Private Client team working alongside Rachel Anderson. Georgia advises clients on a range of Private Client matters including Wills, Powers of Attorney, Executries and Trust Administration.
Georgia joined Thorntons as a Trainee Solicitor and completed seats in Private Client, Conveyancing, Intellectual Property and Commercial Property during her training. She graduated with a First Class Honours in Law and a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Aberdeen.
