Louise Wilson

Louise is a Solicitor in our Private Client team.

Working alongside Lorna Christine, Louise advises on a range of Private Client matters including Wills, Powers of Attorney, care home cost planning, legal rights issues and trusts. Louise acts for clients from all backgrounds including individuals, couples and families.

Maxine Chiverton

Working alongside Bruce Renfrew and Graham Lambert, Maxine is a Solicitor in our Private client team.

Covering Perth and the surrounding areas, Maxine acts for clients who require advice and assistance with their lifetime planning in terms of their Wills and Powers of Attorney. She specialises in Executry Administration and advises clients who require assistance following a bereavement.  She can assist on a wide range of matters including attending to Applications for Confirmation, Inheritance Tax Returns and settling estates with beneficiaries.

Local charities awarded share of £37,500 fundraising sum

Leading Scottish law firm, Thorntons annual charity wills campaign has raised £37,500 for Cash for Kids, helping to support vulnerable families and children across Falkirk, Edinburgh and the Lothians.  

Lauren McIntosh

Working closely alongside Stephanie Pratt and Sue Arrowsmith-Rodger, Lauren is based in both our Cupar and St Andrews offices. She acts for a range of clients from all over Fife who wish to protect their assets and carry out Inheritance tax or care cost planning for the benefit of their family and future generations. Lauren has a particular interest in drafting Wills and Power of Attorney and dealing with executries.

Lauren is also a Notary Public and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Aimee Young

Working alongside Partners Anne McKeown and Stuart Mackie, Aimee is a Solicitor in the Private Client team. Aimee is primarily based in Forfar, however she works across all three of our Angus offices.

Aimee advises on a wide range of Private Client matters including Executries, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trusts, legal rights issues and care cost planning. She acts for clients from all backgrounds and circumstances but she is particularly experienced in dealing with the elderly and the vulnerable.

Millie Griffiths

Millie is a Solicitor in our Private Client team.  Working alongside Lorna Christine and Rachel High, Millie advises on the administration of a wide range of executry estates and also acts for clients who wish to prepare or update their affairs relating to Wills and Powers of Attorney.

She specialises in executries, including those more complex cases subject to inheritance tax and other general private client work.

Duncan Shaw

Duncan is a Solicitor in our Private Client team. Based in Cupar, Duncan assists families and individual clients of all ages in preparing Wills and Powers of Attorney. He also advises on Trust and Estates matters.

Duncan is well known for his prompt response and focus on client care, as well as his understanding of each client’s individual needs.
