Lauren is a second seat Trainee in the Private Client. She joined Thorntons in September 2023 and completed her first seat in the specialist Land & Rural Business team.
Lauren graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Aberdeen. Prior to commencing her Training Contract, Lauren worked as a Paralegal in the Conveyancing department of a Belfast legal firm assisting clients with the legal process of remortgaging. She was also a member of the Aberdeen Law Project during her time at university. The student led Pro Bono clinic enabled Lauren to educate and assist members of the community on their legal rights.
Formerly a competitive swimmer, Lauren's passion for sport has developed into an interest in sports law.
