Our initial consultation package includes a meeting lasting up to one hour with one of our immigration specialists, Gurjit Pall, Jacqueline Moore or Louise Crichton, where we can advise you whether or not you qualify to live and work in the UK, and provide guidance on how to achieve that goal. Following the meeting, we will provide you with a summary of the advice for your reference.

Meetings can take place in person at our offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh or Dundee, or at one of our other offices by prior arrangement. We are also available to meet via video call if you prefer.

What we cover in the consultation

During the consultation we will:

Discuss your short- and long-term immigration goals, including routes to settling in the UK or obtaining British citizenship
Conduct a full diagnosis of your personal circumstances, including ancestry considerations, to establish the best path for you
Identify any complexities in your circumstances and discuss immigration solutions available to you
Discuss the prospects of success of any visa or nationality application, the timescales, Home Office fees and procedures involved

Following the consultation

After the consultation we will:

Provide a follow-up email summarising our advice
Provide a detailed fee proposal for carrying out further work on your behalf

Following the consultation service, you may feel we have provided you with the knowledge and confidence needed to make your own visa application. Alternatively, you may wish to opt for our full representation service, which will allow us to provide bespoke advice and assistance with your application.

Representation service

With this service, we take care of all aspects of the application process for you and act as representative on your application. This service includes preparation of an application package which will include our legal representations and your supporting documentation. We will also take care of uploading the application package to the Home Office’s commercial third partner portal. You will be kept fully updated of progress at all stages of the process.

If you instruct our full representation service within three months of the initial consultation package ending, then 50% of the cost of the initial consultation service will be discounted from your final fee.

Costs

Consultation service – Our fixed fee initial consultation service costs £350 plus VAT. If you are based overseas, then you may not be charged VAT.

If you choose to use our full representation service within three months of the initial consultation package, then we discount 50% of the cost of the initial consultation service from your final fee.

Representation service – Where possible, we offer our representation service on a fixed fee basis tailored to your circumstances. However, due to the complex nature of immigration, it is not possible to offer a fixed fee in every case. We will discuss whether your case is suitable for a fixed fee after our consultation.
