Siobhan is an Associate in our Global Mobility and Immigration team. She has been advising clients on visas and nationality for over fifteen years. She is a Law Society of England and Wales Accredited Level 2 Immigration Supervisor.
Siobhan prides herself on her client centric approach and is known for her dedication to achieving the best outcome for her clients. She works with individuals and families from all over the world seeking to make a home in Scotland. This includes those with Scottish or UK ancestry who are seeking to register as a British citizen.
On the visa side, Siobhan’s experience includes making applications for partners, parents and children both within and outside the Immigration Rules. She has a particular experience in cases which raise more complex and niche aspects of immigration law.
For families and individuals who are impacted by a visa refusal, Siobhan can provide strategic advice on whether a new application or litigation is the appropriate way forward. If litigation is required, Siobhan has extensive experience, of dealing with complex cases at every level of the Immigration court system.
Prior to joining Thorntons, she specialised in complex immigration and nationality cases, including acting for clients in cases before the Special Immigration Appeals Commission (SIAC).
Siobhan is a member of the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association.
