Part of our Edinburgh Private Client team, Yana is the Principal Executry Manager working with Partner Morna Coutts. She specialises in the administration of complex executry estates with particular interest in executry work with various Inheritance Tax aspects as well as cross-border estates.
Stephanie is a Trust Manager in our Dundee and Angus Private Client teams.
Working alongside Partner Stuart Mackie, Stephanie handles the management and administration of trusts including all Trust compliance work, winding up trusts, charity administration and submission of annual accounts to OSCR. She can also advise on the completion of the Inheritance Tax (IHT) 10 year charge. Based in our Dundee office, Hannah is a Trust Manager in our Private Client team.
Working alongside Partner Morna Coutts, Senior Trust Manager Glyn Roberts and the Dundee Trust team, Hannah advises on trust administration. This involves setting up new trusts, the preparation of legal documents, maintaining trust cash balances and making sure payments are received and paid on time.
Hannah is well known by her clients for her approachability and her fast response time.
Working alongside Chris Gardiner, Joanne Todd and Corah Franco, Elaine is the Principal Executry Manager in our Dundee Private Client team.
Knowledgeable and customer-focused, she handles executry administration for clients from start to finish, including working on estates which are complex or contentious, and dealing with Inheritance Tax estate issues.
Working alongside Partner Chris Gardiner, Glyn is a Senior Trust Manager and Trust Accountant in our Private Client team. He is generally based in our Dundee office but also on occasion in Arbroath and Edinburgh.
Based in our Inverness office, Anna is a Senior Executry Manager working with Partner Magnus Mackay. Friendly and approachable, Anna assists clients following a bereavement, looking to build a positive rapport with them at what she knows can be a difficult time. She specialises in executry administration, applications for Confirmation, Inheritance Tax returns, legal rights claims and settling estates with beneficiaries.
A Tax Manager with Thorntons since 2021, Audrey works with Partner Morna Coutts in Edinburgh. She works closely with our Private Client teams across all our offices, as well as with other teams such as Residential Property and Family Law, and specialises in tax compliance for individuals, trusts and estates, and dealing with capital gains tax compliance.
Audrey has over 30 years’ experience working in both legal and accountancy firms. She works closely with her clients to ensure they are fully informed and kept updated throughout the compliance process.
As an Executry Manager in our Private Client team in Cupar, Marie specialises in executries and deals with testate and intestate estates, Inheritance Tax issues and applying for Confirmation. She works with Partners Stephanie Pratt and Susan Duff, and Legal Directors Lisa Hainey and Sue Arrowsmith Rodger.
Marie has over 25 years’ experience in this area, and holds the University of Strathclyde Certificate of Performance in Specialist Paralegal Studies in Wills, Trusts and Executries.
Based in Dundee, Linda is a Tax Manager in our Private Client team.
She helps clients deal with their tax issues, completing Self-Assessment Tax Returns and Capital Gains Tax 60-day Returns for individuals, working with our Trust clients on completing Trust Tax Returns, dealing with Estate Returns and administration period reporting, and handling any related tax compliance work.
