A Partner in our Private Client department in Dundee, Murray works with clients to help manage their personal affairs and plan for the future.

Murray deals in all aspects of general private client work including Executries, Powers of Attorney, Wills, Trusts, Asset Protection and Inheritance Tax Planning. He has a keen interest in Trust Law and heads up the Trust and Tax sub-group within the Private Client department.

Murray is an expert in advising elderly clients particularly on Wills, Powers of Attorney and planning for care home fees. He regularly provides talks to the general public on these very important topics.

He is currently studying for his accreditation to the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Murray is a board member for a number of local charities including Tenovus Dundee, TCCL Lodge and is the former chairman of Dundee University Students' Association.

Murray is the Law Society of Scotland Council Member for Arbroath, Dundee and Forfar and is the Chairperson for the Law Society’s Insurance Committee. Also a former tutor on the Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Dundee.

Murray is a Notary Public and is presently the Private Client Operations Partner.
