Immigration | Sponsor Licence Overview and Right to Work Checks

As an employer, it is essential that you stay up to date on changes to right to work checks, and ensure that you are doing everything needed to carry out compliant checks on your staff. If you don’t then you could face serious illegal working penalties and could lose your sponsor licence.

There have been some important changes to right to work checks this year. Since 6 April;

  • employers have been required to follow the online right to work check process for some individuals, and
  • employers have been allowed to use “Identification Document Validation Technology” (IDVT) to carry out digital right to work checks on British and Irish nationals with valid passport.

Join our Immigration team for this 1 hour webinar and Q&A where they will share the latest updates to Right to Work checks and provide an overview of Sponsor Licences.

This webinar will include
  • Online or digital right to work checks
  • Sanctions against illegal working
  • Applying for a Sponsor license.
