Stephen Connolly

Based in Glasgow, Stephen is a Partner in our Employment team. He advises on a broad range of employment matters, from Employment Tribunal representation and strategic employment advice to day-to-day HR support, drafting employment documentation, and delivering client training. Stephen also works closely with colleagues in other practice areas, providing employment law support in corporate transactions.

Stephen acts for a wide range of clients including public sector organisations, privately owned businesses, charities, third sector organisations, and individuals.

He has particular expertise in unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, contractual claims, working time issues, redundancy processes, and disciplinary/grievance matters.

Client care is at the heart of Stephen’s approach. He focuses on providing practical solutions and prides himself on being available to respond to his clients quickly so they can get the advice they need when they require it. 

Stephen is an Accredited Specialist in Employment Law by the Law Society of Scotland. He is also a regular speaker at conferences and seminars, having presented at the CLT Employment Law Conference, the Law Society of Scotland Employment Law Group Conference, Employment Lawyers Association seminars, and healthcare sector events for GP practices.
