A Senior Solicitor in our Commercial Real Estate team in Edinburgh, Andrew joined Thorntons after completing his traineeship in Glasgow.
He advises both private individuals and business clients on a range of Commercial Property matters including: commercial leasing, secured lending transactions, and commercial purchases and sales- including option agreements.
Andrew’s clients range from small and medium sized enterprises, landlords and property investors to house builders and museum trusts.
His recent experience includes a number of large investment property purchases and sales, both vacant possession and with leases, as well as a number of multimillion pound sales of development land, an area he has a particular interest in.
Andrew is keen to quickly recognise his client’s objectives, and provide tailored, commercially focused advice from the outset of a transaction.
Away from the office, Andrew enjoys outdoor sports and team games. He is a keen camper and can be found pitching next to water, where he can wild swim or paddleboard.
