Leading Scottish law firm, Thorntons, has announced that five new trainees are joining the firm this March, with a further twelve trainees to join in September.
This month, joining the Private Client team in Edinburgh and Perth respectively are Latasha Kirimbai, Gemma Vear and Ellen Grant, whilst Andrew MacQueen joins the Business Law team and Euan McLaughlan becomes part of the Residential Property team in Dundee.
Each year, hundreds of law students and graduates apply for a place on Thorntons’ highly respected traineeship programme, these individuals having excelled during that selection process. The new recruits will benefit from the hands-on training experience Thorntons offers, learning from the breadth of experience of Thorntons’ lawyers, which includes a number of accredited specialists and solicitor advocates. Thorntons’ trainees are fully involved with clients from the start, working alongside expert teams across the wide range of services that the firm offers. The trainees will also be part of a diverse learning and development programme, a mentoring scheme which is tailored to them, and will have the opportunity to attend internal webinars and seminars.
