Thorntons spreads Christmas cheer to children in need

Thorntons spreads Christmas cheer to children in need Thorntons has collected more than 100 presents for the Bring a Smile for Christmas campaign. Tayside's largest law firm has collected more than 100 presents for the Bring a Smile for Christmas campaign.

The annual charity drive is organised by the Keans Children Fund and Wave 102 and aims to ensure that sick and needy children have gifts to open on Christmas Day.

Staff and clients at Thorntons have been generously donating presents over the last few weeks and the gifts will be handed over to the charity just in time for Christmas.

Scott Milne, joint managing partner, said: "Thorntons has collected gifts for the Bring a Smile for Christmas campaign for a number of years and it's always well supported by our clients and employees.

"It's hard to imagine a child waking up on Christmas morning with no presents so it's extremely important that we do all we can to ensure the most vulnerable and sickest children in our community are thought of at this time of year.

"We have held a number of fundraisers and charity initiatives this year and we are thrilled to finish off the year with this campaign."
