Thorntons rates quoted above are based on instant access and are standard “flat” rates on the whole balance, not tiered. Interest will be paid to clients’ CMS accounts half yearly in May and November. The rates quoted in the above table are linked to the Royal Bank of Scotland’s base rate as at 03 August 2023 of 5.25% and will move up or down in relation to changes in the Royal Bank of Scotland base rate. Same day transfers to clients’ bank accounts will be charged the appropriate bank charges.
