Vicky Ward

Working alongside Alistair Lang and Fiona Piper, Vicky is an Associate based in our Glasgow office.

Vicky advises clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, investment and finance transactions and general corporate governance matters.

She also supports clients with management buyouts, corporate succession planning, employee share schemes (including EMI schemes), joint venture arrangements, company restructures, constitutional matters such as articles of association and shareholder agreements, and a wide range of commercial contracts.

She acts for clients across a variety of sectors throughout Scotland and the UK, and has a particular interest in advising start-up, spinouts and scale-ups, helping founders, companies and investors navigate the investment ecosystem, from those embarking on their first seed funding round to those navigating their Series A and Series B investments. 

Client care is central to Vicky’s approach. She brings keen attention to detail and a proactive mindset, aiming to mitigate risks, maximise opportunities and build strong, trusted working relationships based on openness and clear communication. She takes pride in being a reliable partner in her clients’ success.

Vicky is a Notary Public and obtained the Law Society of Scotland Legal Technology Certification in December 2025. She has focused exclusively on corporate and commercial work throughout her career.

Outside of the office, Vicky has hosted several seminars and has spoken at the CLT contracts conference.
