Tom McMurtrie

Tom is an Associate in our Commercial Litigation team in Glasgow.

Tom advises individuals, insolvency practitioners and companies on a broad range of commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters, including debt recovery, contractual disputes, property disputes, insolvency matters and contentious executries. He also regularly appears in sheriff courts, advising clients across Scotland.

Tom qualified as a solicitor in 2021 after completing his traineeship that was primarily focused on criminal law. Since then, he has developed a broad commercial litigation practice, with a particular interest in property and insolvency matters.

Tom enjoys developing strong relationships with his clients and is known for his personable manner. He strives to provide pragmatic, clear and honest advice, working closely with clients to achieve practical and effective outcomes.
