James qualified as a solicitor in 2026, having gained experience in Tax & Succession, Charities, and Land & Property during his traineeship.

Raised in rural Aberdeenshire, James has a genuine understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing rural businesses, landowners and communities across Scotland.
