Isla Bell

Based in Dundee, Isla is a first seat Trainee Solicitor in our Employment team.

Working alongside Noele McClelland, Amy Jones and the wider Employment team, Isla assists clients with a range of employment law matters, including handling initial client enquiries, reviewing and revising employment contracts, and advising on settlement agreements. Isla has a particular interest in discrimination law and is keen to continue expanding her knowledge across all areas of employment law.

She is organised, approachable and attentive, and is committed to providing clients with a high standard of service.

Prior to commencing her traineeship, Isla gained a broad range of legal work experience across Family, Corporate, Criminal and Private Client. She has also worked in hospitality and sales, which helped her develop strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Isla completed her LLB at the University of Glasgow and her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde.

Outside of the office, Isla enjoys travelling and spent a gap year in Australia. She also enjoys playing tennis.
