Based in Edinburgh, Frankie advises on a range of corporate and commercial matters, including investment rounds, spin-outs, corporate governance, share option schemes, and commercial contracts. He specialises in advising early-stage companies, providing support to his clients throughout the various stages of their lifecycle.
Frankie works with a diverse client base, from individual founders and SMEs to international companies and institutional investors. He has a particular interest in the science and technology sector.
Recognised for his clear, practical advice and commitment to delivering excellent client service, Frankie is valued for his responsiveness and ability to simplify complex legal issues.
Before starting his training contract, Frankie worked as a Projects Assistant at Thorntons, where he supported the rollout of new legal technologies in line with the firm’s digital transformation strategy. He has a particular interest in emerging technologies, and how they are reshaping business practices, driving innovation and enhancing efficiency across all sectors.
Frankie holds an LLB and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Glasgow, where he also held the position of Vice-President (Academic) of their Law Society. During his time at university, he spent a year studying at the highly respected European Law School at the University of Maastricht, where he studied a range of legal issues from a comparative and international perspective.
Frankie is also Notary Public.
