Emma Conway

Working alongside Nicola McCafferty and David Milne, Emma is an Associate in our Commercial Real Estate team in Dundee.

Emma advises on all commercial property matters including purchases and sales, security work for lenders, commercial leasing, acquiring development sites and managing plot sales. She acts for a wide range of clients including individuals, companies, partnerships, and lenders.

Before joining Thorntons, Emma worked in residential property for over a decade, building strong expertise in conveyancing. She has a particular interest in complex title matters and corrective conveyancing.

Emma is passionate about delivering excellent client service and enjoys working closely with clients to achieve the best possible outcomes for their families or businesses. Having practiced across Dundee & Angus, Fife and Edinburgh, Emma has developed strong local knowledge which she draws upon to support her clients effectively.

Outside of the office, Emma regularly attends local careers fairs and enjoys engaging with young people interested in pursuing a career in law. She is committed to helping those from disadvantaged backgrounds progress their legal career and has previously acted as a mentor for the Lawscot Foundation. She also frequently attends networking events where she has delivered presentations on a variety of property related topics.
