Derek Beagrie

Derek is a Solicitor in our Glasgow Residential Property team.

Derek advises on a wide range of residential conveyancing matters including purchases and sales, transfers of title, remortgages, equity releases, and discharges. He also has experience in Sharia Law compliant mortgages and a particular interest in New Build transactions.

He acts for a broad spectrum of clients including individuals, landlords, Buy-to-Let investors, and companies. Derek strives to build good relations with his clients, and he is particularly passionate about supporting first-time buyers. He focuses on maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout, helping to make the client’s experience as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Before specialising in residential conveyancing, Derek worked in Immigration Law for four years, returning to property law in 2014. Derek also tutors on the Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow.
