A Solicitor in our Corporate Ventures and Innovation team, working alongside Alistair Lang and Ollie Hofford, Columban assists a variety of clients who are looking for advice in the start-up/entrepreneurial world, including founders, SMEs and investors.
Having trained at a boutique corporate law firm in both Edinburgh and London before joining the Ventures and Innovation team, Columban has exclusively focused on corporate and commercial work throughout his career. He greatly enjoys advising founders on building their businesses and has a particular interest in reviewing their commercial contracts, as these often have strong IP/IT aspects.
As the son of an entrepreneur, Columban is set apart from other lawyers as he understands the environment in which founders and entrepreneurs find themselves in. Combined with his City training, Columban builds on his own experience to deliver the most practical and commercial advice for his clients.
Columban speaks French and Spanish and is a former Army Reservist. He is also a Notary Public.
