Anna Hills

Working alongside Rachel Anderson, Ross Cargill and Lindsay Younie, Anna is an Associate in our Private Client team in St Andrews.

Anna advises individuals and families on a broad range of private client matters including the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney, the administration of executry estates, trusts, tax and succession planning.

Anna has a broad range of experience and is known for her personable and empathetic approach. She focuses on putting clients at ease, particularly at difficult times such as bereavement. Anna truly cares for her clients and she is committed to building lasting relationships as a trusted adviser.

Anna is an accredited member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the leading worldwide professional body for practitioners in the field of trust and estate planning, having completed the Diploma in Trusts and Estates (Scotland) in 2023. She also holds a Certification in Legal Technology.  Anna was the recipient of the Private Client Award at the inaugural BWS Women in Law Awards in 2026.

In addition to her practice, Anna is actively involved in mentoring and the wider community. She is a Law Society mentor, a former board member of the Scottish Young Lawyers Association and a Guide leader. She currently also serves as a Consultative Group member at Girlguiding Scotland.
