We are constantly learning and evolving to make our organisation is as diverse and inclusive as possible. Below are some of the ways we’re making a difference.
Black Professionals UK Internship Programme
We are proud supporters of the Black Professionals UK Internship Programme, giving aspiring Black professionals meaningful exposure to the legal industry. Over the years, we’ve helped many talented individuals gain hands-on experience, build networks, and take the first steps towards successful professional careers.
Disability Confident Accredited
We are proud to be a Disability Confident Employer, demonstrating our commitment to creating inclusive opportunities for disabled individuals. This accreditation underscores our dedication to fostering an accessible and supportive workplace where everyone can thrive.
Additionally, we are a founding member of Disabling Barriers Scotland, a charity focused on removing obstacles for disabled and neurodivergent individuals in the legal profession. Through this partnership, we engage in initiatives that promote equality, provide peer support, and advocate for a culture of belonging within the Scottish legal community.
LGBTQ+ Community & Allies
We are proud to champion LGBTQ+ inclusion. As supporters and allies, colleagues across the firm participate in Pride events and initiatives, and we are committed to creating a workplace where everyone can be their authentic selves. All colleagues should feel safe and valued, and we recognise that true allyship means standing together to build a culture of belonging for everyone.
Inclusion Masterclass Series
Creating an inclusive workplace is an ongoing journey of learning and growth, our Inclusion Masterclasses have explored key topics, including Conscious Inclusion, Neurodiversity Awareness and Black History Month, sparking meaningful conversations that inspire real, lasting change.
Prime Commitment
As part of our commitment to widening access to the legal profession, we run the Future Forward with Prime work experience programme. This initiative provides school students from less-advantaged backgrounds with hands-on experience and meaningful insight into legal careers, hoping to inspire the next generation and ensure that a career in law is accessible to all.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Network
Our DEI network brings colleagues together to provide space for colleagues to connect, share experiences, and engage in meaningful conversations. It serves as a forum for suggestions on how we can continually make our firm more inclusive for both colleagues and clients. We are committed to growing and strengthening this network, promoting understanding, celebrating diverse perspectives, and enhancing our inclusive workplace culture through events, workshops, and ongoing initiatives.
