Thorntons’ Litigation team has extensive experience across Scotland in a wide variety of disputes and we pride ourselves on delivering the best service and the right results for our clients. Our team in Perth are regularly engaged in a broad range of court work and we are looking for another lawyer to join the team who values a role with a mixed and interesting caseload.
- Provide legal advice and strategic guidance to clients in a broad litigation role which will include a range of civil and criminal litigation work and Adults with Incapacity cases.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and high-level advocacy.
- Develop and present compelling arguments in courts, primarily the Sheriff Court but also some Court of Session cases and mediation and arbitration.
- Offering innovative solutions to complex legal issues.
- Negotiate complex settlements, agreements, and resolutions for clients.
- Genuine opportunities for supported career progression and development.
- Requirement to work from our Perth office a minimum of 3 days a week.
