After 34 years Practice in St Andrews as a solicitor Sally retired as a Partner on 31 May 2017.
Formerly a partner with Murray Donald and subsequently a Partner at Thorntons following a merger in 2014.
Sally's specialisations included Property Law where she built up a breadth and depth of knowledge locally in property transactions, including work for both developers and property investors and in the lending market acting for both lenders and borrowers. She was also involved in Private Client matters and had strong links with many local voluntary organisations and trusts.
Sally is now working with the firm as a Consultant and has stepped back from front line client work other than to provide holiday cover as required by colleagues. She will be providing support to colleagues by assisting with specific projects within the firm which will include working with the firm`s Learning and Development team in the delivery of in-house training as part of a commitment by Thorntons to improve the quality of training all our staff receive over a wide range of topics.
