A key member of our Land and Rural Business team in Angus, Ross is dual qualified as a Solicitor and Chartered Rural Surveyor.  With over 10 years’ experience working within the Agricultural sector across Angus, Aberdeenshire and Perthshire, Ross is well known and respected for his broad spectrum of knowledge and expertise.

Ross works closely with a number of farming and landed estate clients and advises on issues including property and land purchase and sale, leasing, securities, compensation, rent review of agricultural holdings and he has a particular interest in valuation of agricultural/rural property for secured lending.

After completing his legal traineeship, Ross went on to complete a Masters in Land Economy and Rural Surveying and worked for two top tier surveying firms becoming a RICS Registered Valuer.  Away from the office, Ross is involved with Strathmore RFC and also enjoys field sports.

Ross is a member of the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), The Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT), the Central Scotland Agricultural Valuers Association (CSAVA) and the Agricultural Law Association (ALA)
