Donald is a second seat Trainee Solicitor in the Commercial Litigation team. He commenced his Training Contract in September 2023 and completed his first seat in the Corporate team. Prior to commencing his Training Contract he worked in the Risk and Compliance team.
Donald has a particular interest in Insolvency Law and is currently undertaking academic research in this area. As such, he is engaged with a wide network of UK, European and International academics and industry representatives in insolvency law.
Donald graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Edinburgh Napier University and the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Dundee. He is results-orientated, receiving the Law Society of Scotland Prize, Verus Wealth Prize for Business and Financial Services and The University Medal for Law, during his time at university.
Donald is also a Tutor in Commercial Law at the University of Dundee.
