Shirley Phillips

Associate (Professional Support Lawyer), Thorntons Property Services

Shirley, an experienced property lawyer, works as a Professional Support Lawyer for our Property team. Having graduated in 1996 with an Honours degree in Law, Shirley gained a broad base of knowledge working initially in a general legal practice. Moving firm in 2001 to specialise in property matters, Shirley worked in Dundee and St Andrews before coming to Thorntons in 2008. Whilst, historically, Shirley's focus was on residential property, she latterly gained experience in a variety of commercial property matters. In her current role, Shirley works closely with all our Property Lawyers to improve systems, knowledge management, and risk management and to provide training, all of which contributes to improved client care. She is primarily based in our Dundee office although works with the residential, commercial and rural property teams in all the firm's offices.
