Accident Types

Road Traffic Accident

Road traffic accidents are very common, which is not surprising when you consider the number of vehicles on the roads today. Accidents can happen whether you are a driver, passenger, pedestrian or motorcyclist. If a motor vehicle is uninsured, a claim can still be made to an organisation known as the Motor Insurers Bureau even if the driver is uninsured or untraced.

Work

We spend a lot of our time at work and its unsurprising to find that a lot of accidents do happen in the workplace. Defective equipment, heavy lifting, slippery floors or a failure to provide protective equipment can cause this. These are only examples and accidents at work can be caused by a number of things. It is compulsory for employers to be insured to cover accidents at work.

Slips/Trips

Slips and trips can happen anywhere – schools, shops, on the street and in many other places. If we can show that your slip or trip was caused by a failure on the part of the other party, you may be entitled to compensation. These types of accident may not always be straightforward but with the right help and advice you may succeed.

Other

Not all accidents fit into the above categories. You may be entitled to compensation for injuries sustained if you are assaulted, attacked by an animal or injured at school or college. If you believe the accident wasn't your fault then contact us and we will advise you on whether you have a claim.
