There's no escaping the buzz of social media, but what opportunities or threats does it present to your business? Social media can be extremely powerful however you need to be aware of potential pitfalls.
With several high profile criminal prosecutions (including a lengthy prison sentence for a Dundee man) following Facebook posts, Social Media has been in the headlines often over the last 12 months.
Away from the potential criminal aspects, Social Media is also an increasingly important issue for businesses and can be a vital source of work. However if it is used wrongly, it can have serious consequences. Its use by employees within and outwith work can also create issues which employers require to address.
