A Partner at Tayside's leading legal firm has been selected by a national charity as an official member of its recognised solicitors list.
Gordon McBean of Thorntons has been selected for the 2009 Personal Injury Solicitors List compiled by brain injury association Headway.
An experienced civil litigator, Gordon heads up reparation law at Thorntons and has played an integral role in carving Thorntons' established reputation as a market leader in the field of personal injury and medical negligence.
Headway is a charity offering support to brain injury survivors and their families, lobbying for better support and resources and campaigning for measures that will reduce the number of brain injuries.
The Personal Injury Solicitors List now incorporates a Code of Conduct for members and monitors all recognised firms as well as offering advice on relatednon-legal issues.
Based in the firm's Dundee office, Gordon also handles an increasing number of cases under the Court of Session specialist personal injury procedure from Thorntons' Edinburgh office.
