Thorntons, Tayside’s largest law firm, has been chosen to feature in an ad campaign promoting Companies House’s WebFiling service.
The firm’s Dundee-based company secretarial department already makes extensive use of the online filing service and was viewed by Companies House as an ideal example of how law firms – and their clients – can gain real advantages by embracing the new technology.
Thorntons business law partner Iain Hutcheson and company secretarial administrator Linda Muir were asked to extol its virtues for adverts to run in the local Tayside media and also in Companies House’s quarterly magazine, Register.
Iain said: “We have many clients that we provide company secretarial services for and we also electronically incorporate around 80 companies each year.
“We submit documents online whenever possible as moving from paper to non-paper is the most secure way for us to file and it is also a money saver.”
