Radio Tay listeners’ charity Caring for Kids is celebrating the news that solicitors Thorntons are to extend their sponsorship of the charity campaign for a further year. The major financial contribution from the Tayside legal firm for 2005/2006 will allow Caring for Kids and Radio Tay listeners to continue helping thousands of vulnerable and needy children across the region. Confirmation of Thorntons’ continued support for what has become one of Scotland’s best known community charity campaigns comes after the most successful fundraising year for the charity. |

Thorntons have fostered close links with Caring for Kids over many years. In addition to the firm’s five-figure sponsorship, Thorntons staff in Angus, Perth and Dundee have run their own fund raising activities and helped man phone lines during the annual charity auction.
