Charity Will campaign raises £10,000 for Cash For Kids Tayside's leading legal firm presented a cheque for £10,000 to a local children's charity at Radio Tay today after holding a fundraising Wills month. Thorntons Solicitors donated the money to Cash For Kids today after having launched the fundraising campaign in November 2009 to raise awareness of the importance of having an up to date Will in place. |

As part of the biennial campaign, the firm waived their usual fee for anyone wishing to make or update a Will and instead asked that they make a donation to Cash For Kids, the Radio Tay listeners' charity which helps children and young people across Tayside.
Cash for Kids' invaluable work includes buying specialist equipment for children with physical disabilities, providing respite for families with chronically ill children to helping fund play schemes and breakfast clubs.
Thorntons and its clients have been raising money for Cash For Kids for more than a decade and over £60,000 has been donated through Charity Wills since the first campaign in 1997.
Malcolm Farquhar, Partner at Thorntons, said: "Once again we have received overwhelming support from our clients across the firm and hope that the £10,000 raised will help make a positive difference to the lives of many young people across Tayside.
