Tayside's leading legal firm today announced a new partner promotion in its specialist Intellectual Property team.
Newly appointed partner at Thorntons, Liam McMonagle, will continue to strengthen the team's experience across the fast-moving creative industries sector in which it is actively involved.
Based in its Dundee headquarters, Liam who is qualified in both Scots and English Law works across IP and IT practice areas with a particular focus on media and entertainment work, IT supply arrangements and higher education.
He has also been recognised as a Leader in the Field by Chambers and Partners Review of Scottish media and entertainment lawyers.
The Strathclyde University graduate joined the firm in March 2010 from Dundas & Wilson's
Glasgow-based technology team.
